I start college next week but I'm having a hard time accepting that the holidays are over... I developed this roll last week and it just made me want to go back to this amazing place. It was the first time I camped at a festival and I loved it. From the crowded riverside beach (1,2,3,4,5), to the messy camping (6,7), the sick concerts (8 - when I sat down on the grass to watch Beirut) and the sad goodbye (9). And once more my ae-1 didn't disappoint. I'm still learning but I smile everytime I look at that blurred background on 5... it looks like a painting! :)

Começo a faculdade na próxima semana e está a ser difícil aceitar que as férias acabaram... Revelei este rolo na semana passada e fiquei com uma enorme vontade de voltar para este sítio. Foi a primeira vez que acampei num festival e adorei. Desde a multidão na praia fluvial (1,2,3,4,5), passando pelos acampamentos desarrumados (6,7), os concertos brutais (8 - quando me sentei na relva a ouvir Beirut) até ao triste adeus (9). E mais uma vez a minha ae-1 não me desiludiu. Ainda estou a aprender mas gosto especialmente daquele fundo desfocado na 5... parece um quadro! :)

This was my first ever roll of film on my ae-1 and I shot it when I spent a weekend in Algarve with my family. I'm quite happy with the results considering it was my first time shooting manual on film! I love this camera.

Este foi o meu primeiro rolo na minha canon ae-1 e fotografei quando fui passar um fim-de-semana ao Algarve com a minha família. Até estou feliz com os resultados, considerando que foi a primeira vez que fotografei analógico em manual! Adoro esta máquina.

I was lucky enough to spend a few days in a small island in Asia, closest place to paradise I've been so far. These are some digital photos I took while I was there.

Tive a sorte de passar alguns dias numa pequena ilha no continente asiático, o sitio mais perto do paraíso que alguma vez visitei. Estas são algumas fotografias que tirei enquanto lá estive.

These are some digital photos I took on my trip to Florida back in the summer with my family. We first stayed in Orlando and spent a few days in Disney World Parks (first 4 photos) and we also went to Universal Studios and I got to see my beloved Hogwarts Castle and even had the chance to drink a butterbeer at Three Broomsticks! I love theme parks, so it was a fantastic vacation. From there we drove all the way down to Miami Beach (6 and 7 were taken at our stops - it's my sister, not me) and we still had time for a drive through the islands (Florida keys) to Key West (photos 8 and 9 - 9 is the iconic house of Ernest Hemingway, the one that now belongs to his cats). After that we spent a few more days in Miami Beach before heading back home (10 and 11).

Estas são algumas fotografias digitais que tirei na minha viagem à Florida, onde fui no último verão com a minha família. Primeiro ficámos em Orlando, alguns dias no Disney World Parks (4 primeiras fotografias) e também fomos à Universal Studios onde pude ver o Castelo de Hogwarts e ainda tive a oportunidade de beber uma cerveja de manteiga no Three Broomsticks! Adoro parques temáticos, portanto foram umas óptimas férias! De Orlando fomos para Miami Beach (as fotografias 6 e 7 foram tiradas durante as paragens - é a minha irmã, não eu) e ainda tivemos tempo para conduzir pelas ilhas (Florida Keys) até Key West (fotografias 8 e 9 - 9 é a casa de Ernest Hemingway, a que ele deixou aos seus gatos). Depois disso ficámos alguns dias em Miami Beach antes de regressar (10 e 11).
